Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria commenced the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic session with a 7-day Arabic/Urdu Language Camp from January 11 to January 17, 2024. The camp was designed to enhance students’ proficiency in Arabic and Urdu and was divided into two sections: the first and second-year students focused on Urdu, while the senior students participated in the Arabic program.
The camp featured a range of educational and interactive activities, including language classes, video sessions, and guest lectures. Special online and in-person sessions with experts and missionaries enriched the learning experience. Students also had the opportunity to watch the Friday Sermon of Beloved Huzur (May Allah be his Helper) in both languages, which further deepened their linguistic and spiritual understanding.
Sports activities were also incorporated to ensure a well-rounded experience. Throughout the camp, students received valuable guidance and motivation from experienced teachers and missionaries, who shared their knowledge and personal journeys in mastering these languages.
By the grace of Allah Almighty, the camp concluded successfully with significant improvements observed in students’ language skills. The program ended with an inspiring address by the school principal, who urged the students to continue practicing and utilizing their language skills beyond the camp.
