Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria has commenced its much-anticipated annual sports fiesta with an exciting start to the football competition. The opening match was held on February 9, 2025, and was officially kicked off by the esteemed principal, Hafiz Syed Shahid Ahmed Sahib.
This year’s competition features three teams, Rafaqat, Shafqat, and Diyanat, as students have been grouped to compete in various sporting activities. The first football match saw Rafaqat and Shafqat go head-to-head in a thrilling contest. After an intense game, Shafqat emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win over Rafaqat.
The sports fiesta is an annual tradition at Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria, aimed at promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students. More matches and other sporting events are set to take place in the coming days as the competition progresses.
