On Saturday, November 5, 2022, Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria proudly participated in the Ahmadiyya National Exhibition, organized by Majlis Ansarullah Nigeria. This memorable event was held at the historic Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Representing Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria, the delegation, led by the then principal, Mulvi Abdul Azeem Ahmad Sahib, included dedicated lecturers and students who exhibited the profound literary works of the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). The exhibition provided an opportunity for attendees from diverse backgrounds to explore and learn about the timeless teachings and contributions of the Promised Messiah through his books.
The Jamia team engaged with visitors, answering questions about the Promised Messiah and guiding them to relevant books. Guests were also treated to introductions of the various exhibited works.
The Amir Sahib, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Alatoye, highlighted the objectives of the exhibition, emphasizing the Jama’at’s efforts to foster harmonious relationships with various organizations and communities. He remarked:
“With the huge sense of preserving history, the Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria presents to the public an Exhibition titled ‘National Exhibition 2022’. The theme of the programme is ‘Islam-ul-Ahmadiyya in Prints and Visuals.’”
The exhibition showcased an impressive array of items, including translations of the Holy Qur’an in various world languages, historical accounts of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at in Nigeria, and the Jama’at’s remarkable contributions to education, healthcare, and charitable initiatives. Displays also featured materials from the auxiliary organizations of the Jama’at, mosques, Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA), and the newly established Minaret International University.
This landmark event served as a platform to deepen public understanding of the Jama’at’s mission and its enduring legacy in Nigeria and beyond. Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria’s active participation underscored its pivotal role in promoting the scholarly works and spiritual message of the Promised Messiah.
