Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria hosted its annual Jalsa Seerat-un-Nabi on Thursday, 3rd September, 2026, at the Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria Hall.
Centered around the theme “Living the Prophetic Example: Building a Better Generation”.
The event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the melodious chanting of an Arabic poem written by the Promised Messiah (as) in praise of his master, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa).

Presiding over the program, the chairman, Alhaji Abdur Rahman Busari sahib, who serves as the Vice Principal Academics at Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria, addressed the gathering. He highlighted that the essence of the gathering is not merely to celebrate a birthday, but to remind ourselves of the Holy Prophet’s Seerah and exemplary life.
He strongly urged the audience to internalize and inculcate the good moral lessons demonstrated by the Holy Prophet in their daily routines.
The formal session featured two academic presentations.
The first lecture, titled “Purification of the Soul (Tazkiyah): Prophetic Tools for Resisting Peer Pressure and Distractions,” was delivered by Tijani Abdul Malik sahib, a student at Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria.

This was followed by the second lecture, “The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) – The Best Manifestation of Divine Attributes,” presented by Hafiz Waqar Younas sahib, a lecturer at the institution.

The program concluded with silent prayers.
