Majlis khuddam Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria has emerged as the overall best Muqam at the 51st Annual Salāna Ijtema of Majlis Khuddam-ul Ahmadiyya, Nigeria, held from April 17 to 20, 2025, at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Ede, Osun State. The Muqam was awarded the highly coveted Alm-e-Inami among all participating Muqamaat nationwide.
The Principal of Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria, Hafiz Syed Shahid Ahmed sahib, expressed heartfelt gratitude and joy following the achievement. “By the Grace of Allah, Jamia has secured first position at the national Ijtema and received the Alm-e-Inami, Alhamdulillah,” he said. “May Allah the Almighty accept our humble efforts, shower His mercy upon us, and enable us to continue serving Islam Ahmadiyyat with sincerity and excellence.”
He further acknowledged the dedication and sacrifices of the students and all members of the Majlis. “This is a blessed and honourable achievement. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all my dear brothers for their unwavering support and tireless efforts,” he noted. The Principal also extends his congratulary message to our Dil’a, Majlis khuddam Ilaro Dil’a, which also came 1st among all the Dila’at in Nigeria, and to our Ilaqa , Ogun Ilaqa which also took 3rd position among all the Ilaqa nationwide.
The Ijtema, held under the theme “Our Pledge, Our Responsibility,” featured a rich programme of Qur’anic recitations, lectures, workshops, and humanitarian activities. A free medical outreach served over 250 residents in the host community.
Addressing students after the Ijtema, Hafiz Syed Shahid Ahmed reaffirmed Jamia’s mission. “Our students have shown sincerity and excellence. This victory is not just a moment of celebration but a call to further commitment,” he said. He added that Jamia would continue its efforts to nurture future leaders rooted in peace, knowledge, and service to humanity.
As the curtain falls on the 2025 Ijtema, Jamia Ahmadiyya Nigeria stands resolute in its pledge, to uphold excellence, elevate moral values, and lead with purpose in the service of Islam Ahmadiyyat.
